Christmas blessings...

This will be my last post for 2011.  Our granddaughter and her momma are coming today with our grandson, his momma and our youngest daughter following on Saturday.  We get to enjoy them all for a couple of weeks!  Our sons-in-law (great guys!) will come Christmas week and we look forward to spending time with them, as well.

I thought I would leave this year with a Christmas blessing for you all from Numbers 6:24-26, including notes from the original Hebrew.

The Lord bless you,
( come with bended knee and gifts)
and keep you;
(put a hedge of thorns around you, guard and protect)
The Lord make His face shine on you,
(be personal with you - eyeball to eyeball)
and be gracious to you;
(personally involved)
The Lord lift up His countenance on you,
(smile)
and give you peace.
(destroy what causes chaos)

Isn't that an awesome blessing?!  Count your blessings, enjoy your family and extend to them the grace that God has so richly bestowed on us.  Have a wonderful Christmas and happy New Year!
