Ok, I know that a lot of us feel like we are living in a world full of chaos. It's true, but the chaos I am referring to today is right in our homes. When my kids were small, I felt like I just couldn't keep up and felt like my house was a constant mess. Then, I discovered the book, Side-tracked Home Executives. The book is written by two sisters whose homes had gotten so out of control and cluttered that they had some very embarrassing incidents. Fortunately, they have quite a sense of humor! It was so helpful and I got the girls involved in helping create an organized and clean home.
Recently, my oldest daughter called to tell me about a website she had discovered. She is very excited about the household organizational help she has found and is enjoying the order that has come to her home because of the helpful information on the website. I explored the website, FlyLady.net, and discovered that the Fly Lady had used what she learned from the same book I had read, but made it practical in today's world. She asks the question on the website, "Are you living in CHAOS?" (Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome). I particularly like that she helps you organize in small increments of time each day. Plus, it's a fun website and easy to navigate. Check it out!
