Whatever is of good repute...

Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.
Philippians 4:8

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  They always go so quickly...

Today's phrase is whatever is of good repute.  Basically, it means whatever or whomever has a good reputation.  The definition from Strong's Concordance says that good repute means well spoken of and reputable (being favorably known, spoken of or esteemed).

Make a quick list of the people you know who fit this definition and why.  Can you add your name to the list?  Hmmm...

Vacation Pics
We saw so many beautiful flowers, gardens and trees in the Carolinas.  This week, I want to share some of the pictures we took.  Today's pictures are rhododendrons blooming at Billy Graham's training center, The Cove, outside of Asheville, North Carolina.

Today's Recipe - Party Pasta Salad
Sorry, this recipe has been in my recipe box for so long that I have forgotten where it came from.

12 oz whole grain pasta, cooked according to directions
20 oz pineapple chunks in juice
1 cup olive oil
1/2 cup rice vinegar
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
salt and pepper
3 cups cauliflower florettes
3 cups broccoli florettes
1 red bell pepper, cut in chunks
1 cup whole toasted almonds

Drain pineapple; reserve 3 Tbsp juice for dressing.
Whisk together, reserved pineapple juice, oil, vinegar, mustard Worcestershire sauce, garlic and salt and pepper for the dressing.
Combine pasta, cauliflower and broccoli in a large bowl.  Pour dressing over salad; toss and cover.  Refrigerate overnight.  Add rest of ingredients to bowl before serving and toss.
12-15 servings
