Fizzy drops...

Science experiment #2 - What happens when you use an eye dropper to squirt drops of white vinegar onto a dish of baking soda?  The grands really liked this experiment.  Because my grandson is two, I opted not to make dishes of colored vinegar.  I just had visions of colorful stains on everything...

The experiment was still a success because it's just cool what happens when you combine vinegar and baking soda. 

The examples I saw on Pinterest used different food colors mixed with the vinegar and the results were very colorful!  Our experiment looked like a moonscape when we were finished.  The kids loved it.
