Still resting...

I was so out of it yesterday, I forgot to post...
I am feeling better because I felt up to making a couple of gifts - pictures and instructions coming next week.  Now, I'm back on the couch.  The fatigue is hanging on...

The attributes of God that we were going to look at each day this week are:

God is  loving.

And we have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us.  
God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
I John 4:16

God is good.

Praise the Lord!  Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
for His lovingkindness is everlasting.
Psalm 106:1

God is wrathful.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.
Romans 1:18-19

God is truthful.

Today's Recipe - Caramel Sauce
Southern Living

3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup whipping cream

Combine butter and brown sugar in a heavy saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.  Gradually add whipping cream; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.  Remove from heat and cool slightly.  Serve warm over ice cream, gingerbread or pound cake.  Store sauce in refrigerator.  Yield:  2 1/2 cups.
